Presentation Guidelines
Invited/Contributed talks are 25/15 minutes long including time for questions. Plan to make talks
22/12 minutes long. Computer and projectors will be provided. Presentations should be prepared
in pdf, PowerPoint or Keynote format. It will also be possible to use your own laptop.
Posters should be 3’ wide by 4’ tall. Please do not make them wider as each poster board will be
shared by two presenters.
Bring some warm clothing!
Although the meeting is in late spring and the weather in the mountains is very pleasant,
Breckenridge is located at an altitude of about 9000 feet. The afternoons tend to have storms
and the evenings tend to get chilly. Make sure to bring some rain gear and layers. Also, for those
who enjoy the outdoors bring your hiking shoes!
You don't need a car!
Some of you may consider the possibility of renting a car at Denver Airport and driving up to Breck
(about 2 hrs drive). While this is a good option you will not need a car during the conference.
The meeting will take place at the hotel where most of you will be staying. There is really good
public transportation in Breckenridge which is free. Also, Beaver Run Resort has a Van service that
loops through the town. Parking at BRR is an additional expense!
