There are two different power companies supplying electricity to the 6 section CASES-99 Main Site.

Phone company
  • Southwestern Bell

    • Contact Darren Paige (Leon, KS area engineer) 316-268-2244
    Darren indicates that there is phone line availability from the WEST edge of our Main Site (the Rt. 96 phone lines have no space left).
    Price estimates:  To be received. For 1.5 miles of typical phone line down 120th.


    Roads, concrete and power drops (electrical service)

  • Sims Electric Service Inc.

    • These are the folks who Jerry Klazura used for Argonne's ABLE work.

  • TNT Construction Company

    • TNT can sub-contract out electrical work and meets all Argonne (DOE) requirements for insurance and safety.

  • Kansas Copters & Wings, Inc. (Schreib-Air)

    • 316-733-0109, Augusta, KS airport (quite close to the site! ~ 15 miles), the helicopter may be able to operate from there and save ferry time.
