In the AO monitor one can see narrow lanes of very elongated structures between the spots in this trailing region. But we're not going to get it in the ASP. we've got clear periods of a few minutes, with very very fast-moving clouds so even trying to pause is difficult. _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 15:10:44 -- Operation 2 Map: 180 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark 04/29/01/ 15:27:03 -- Comment one pause at about step 140, else clear. yeah!!! _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 15:29:00 -- Operation 3 Map: 1 of 2, 150 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 15:50:41 -- Operation 4 Map: 2 of 2, 150 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark 04/29/01/ 15:51:31 -- Comment op04 has only one step, hit the 'end' button too late. op03 - a painful scan, with more than 10 pauses. Hope it's useful. op02 was pretty nice, I hope. now going to do small scans of the sunspot and the narrow channel. _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 16:01:10 -- Operation 5 Map: 1 of 3, 75 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 16:08:53 -- Operation 6 Map: 2 of 3, 75 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 16:16:50 -- Operation 7 Map: 3 of 3, 75 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark 04/29/01/ 16:23:12 -- Comment those only got the central bits between the two spots. Need to remember that the HSG offset/positioning window is in arcsec, not steps. sigh - oh well, central region is where there's lots going on, at least in the continuum and Halpha. Bad cirrus now, take a break. _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 16:48:52 -- Operation 8 Map: 1 of 4, 75 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 16:55:38 -- Operation 9 Map: 2 of 4, 75 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 17:11:35 -- Operation 10 Cal: 69 configurations File Mark 04/29/01/ 17:47:32 -- Comment cirrus during the cal, maybe enough consistency to be useful? _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 17:48:43 -- Operation 11 Flat Field: 32 configurations File Mark _____________________________________________________________ 04/29/01/ 19:41:10 -- Operation 12 Map: 200 steps of .60 arcsec each File Mark 04/29/01/ 19:59:14 -- Comment thought we had some sunlight, but.... 04/29/01/ 21:36:20 -- Comment too many clouds, too awful seeing. high wind, when it's not spitting rain it's cirrus. g'day.
