Parameterization of Gravity Wave Mean-Flow Forcing
We have a parameterization that can be downloaded here.
Versions written in both Fortran ("gwdrive.F" and sample input file
"skyhi_in.dat") or IDL (gwdrive.pro) are available. This
parameterization is suitable for application to GCMs or other
coarse-resolution global models, or for mechanistic wave drag
studies. For reference see Alexander and Dunkerton, 1999.
